1924 Kingwood Stud, formerly The Lambourn Stud, was founded in 1924 by Captain Ossie Bell and Sir Hugo Cunliffe Owen.
1928 Top racehorses bred or reared there include 1928 Derby winner Felstead and outstanding filly Rockfel.
1985 Fiona Marner took over management of the stud in 1985 and in recent years the operation has produced 37 Group scorers including Majestic Missile and Silca’s Sister.
2010 Mehmet Kurt bought Kingwood Stud from Fiona Marner in August 2010.
